Rampage Icon Pack for Windows 11 – Resource Redirect
Rampage Icon Pack is a dark gaming-style icon set for Windows 11 built around black metallic surfaces, sharp red lighting, orange glow effects, and small blue highlights. The design feels much closer to gaming hardware than the standard Windows icon set, making it a strong choice for desktops that already use darker wallpapers and RGB-inspired styling.
The folders and drive icons carry most of the visual weight. Angular frames, brushed black surfaces, glowing red lines, and fiery edges give them a heavy mechanical look. Media-related icons follow the same direction, so the pack feels connected instead of looking like a random mix of gaming symbols.
This version is designed for Resource Redirect in Windhawk. It changes supported Windows icon resources through the mod and does not require you to manually replace protected Windows system files. Your wallpaper, taskbar, Start menu, and Windows theme remain separate customizations.
Dark Gaming Icon Style
Rampage uses a mostly black and graphite base, then adds strong red and orange lighting around the edges. Some icons also use electric blue highlights, especially around media and download-style resources, which gives the set a more dramatic contrast.
The shapes are intentionally bold. Folders, drives, music, video, downloads, and other supported resources use thick frames and hardware-inspired details rather than flat minimalist symbols.
Features
- Black and graphite gaming-style icon surfaces
- Red and orange glow effects with electric blue accents
- Angular folder, drive, media, and download icon designs
- Detailed metallic frames inspired by gaming hardware aesthetics
- Designed for Resource Redirect in Windhawk
- No manual replacement of protected Windows system files
- Can be used separately from your wallpaper, taskbar, or Windows theme
Compatibility & Requirements
Some icons may remain unchanged because certain applications use their own icon files, while folders with thumbnail previews may display those previews instead of the replacement folder resource.
Requirements & Included Files
- Platform: Windows 11
- Tool: Windhawk with Resource Redirect mod enabled
- Included: Rampage Resource Redirect Icon Pack files
- Extras: A ZIP extraction tool
Before You Install
Keep a copy of your current Resource Redirect settings before changing the icon path. That gives you a quick way to return to your previous setup later without trying to remember which folder path you were using.
After Rampage is active, leave the extracted pack folder in the same location. Resource Redirect loads the files from that saved path, so moving or renaming the folder can stop the icons from appearing.

Download Icon PackIf the Icons Do Not Change
Check that Resource Redirect is enabled and that the saved path points to the actual extracted Rampage folder rather than the ZIP archive or an outer folder that only contains another folder.
If the path is correct but old icons remain visible, restart Windows Explorer. An icon-cache refresh may also be needed if Windows is still loading older resources.
Why Do Only Some Icons Change?
Resource Redirect can only replace resources covered by the pack. Some applications keep their own icons, and folders that display thumbnail previews may not use the regular folder resource at all.
So a few unchanged icons do not automatically mean the pack failed. Windows, in its endless wisdom, enjoys having several different ways to display what looks like the same thing.
How to Remove
How to Remove
- Open Windhawk: Select the installed Resource Redirect mod.
- Open Its Settings: Find the custom path currently pointing to the Rampage folder.
- Restore Your Previous Setup: Replace the Rampage path with your earlier configuration, or remove it if you want to return to the default Windows resources.
- Save the Changes: Apply the updated Resource Redirect settings.
- Restart Explorer: Restart Windows Explorer so the previous or default icons can reload.
- Delete the Pack Later: Remove the extracted Rampage folder only after Resource Redirect is no longer using it.
Branding and Usage Note
Some artwork in the Rampage icon set includes ASUS and Republic of Gamers-style branding or visual marks. Those names and marks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance in the artwork does not mean that this icon pack or Link Vegas Theme is officially connected to ASUS or Republic of Gamers.
Disclaimer
Rampage Icon Pack is an independently shared third-party Windows customization resource intended for desktop personalization. It is not an official Microsoft, ASUS, Republic of Gamers, Windhawk, or Resource Redirect product and is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by those companies or projects. Final Word
Rampage is built for a very specific kind of desktop. The black metallic frames, red lighting, orange fire effects, and occasional blue highlights make the icons feel closer to gaming hardware than ordinary Windows resources.
It works perfectly well as a standalone icon pack, but pairing it with the AORUS Gaming Theme can carry that darker gaming look across more of the desktop without changing what Resource Redirect itself does.
